The Storehoue Project

The Storehouse Project

A Christian charity, set up by Billinge Family Church, helping the communities of Wigan and Leigh. Many BFC members are involved, and help is always needed.

Our aim is to reach out to people in all circumstances by providing food, furniture and clothing free of charge. Through our practical provision we seek to enrich lives both mentally and spiritually by increasing self-esteem, breaking down barriers to a fulfilled life and engaging with those who are most in need of assistance. On request from official local agencies we distribute to people who would benefit from our help. The Storehouse Project is one of the approved food banks for Wigan Council.

The Storehouse Project will provide for anyone referred via local agencies. We have helped people affected by unemployment, low-income, domestic abuse, relationship breakdown, low self-esteem, disability and mental health issues.
